The FMGE 2024 report published by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) indicates the performance of medical colleges abroad based on the number of universities where Indian students pursued and appeared for MBBS, total number of students who appeared and how many of them actually qualified to practice medicine in India. As per the FMGE 2024, the number of countries and universities where Indians pursued MBBS and have appeared for FMGE exam are nearly 55 countries and 486 universities. The overall number of students who appeared for FMGE 2024 were 79000. Out of them, 20382 students passed the FMGE 2024 and qualified to practise in India. As per the FMGE 2024 data released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences there are 59 universities in Russia (Russian Federation) where Indian students pursued MBBS and have appeared for FMGE exam in 2024.
