A PGWP will not be issued for a period longer than the applicant's period of study in Canada to make them stay back in Canada.
Generally, the PGWP will be approximately the same duration as the applicant’s period of study, up to a maximum of three years.
If your study program is more than 50% in person, then you are eligible to obtain a PGWP equivalent to the duration of your program of study.
