GRE Selection Procedure 2020: GRE for MBA
Most b-schools around the world accept GRE General test scores for admitting candidates to their MBA programs. As per various surveys, nearly eight out of 10 law schools don’t have a test preference. So, whether the candidate takes the GRE General and GMAT test, it won’t make a big difference in whether they are accepted to the b-school or not.
Also, apart from admission to MBA courses, many of these business schools also use GRE scores for admission to specialized master's and other doctoral business programs

GRE Selection Procedure 2020 Who Takes the GRE Test?
The GRE General Test is for candidates who are looking to pursue a master's, MBA, specialized master's in business or doctoral degree in a graduate school abroad. The GRE offers the graduate schools a common benchmark that can be used to evaluate a candidate’s qualification with others, each of whom may come from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
Note that along with academic institutions, there are also a number of fellowship sponsors that grant fellowships on the basis of GRE scores. An important point here is the test scores shouldn’t be shared with a fellowship sponsor unless the candidate has applied to the sponsor or is requested by the sponsor to send scores. In such a scenario where the sponsor offering is not listed approved by ETS, then the candidate needs to contact the specific university and to determine the appropriate code to use.

Sir, Im a biotechnology graduate and I want to do my MS . Please tell which exam would better to pursue the same, GATE or GRE?
If we think on the basis of future prospects and importance then GRE is better than GATE
Here is the explanation
1.) GRE is comparatively easy exam which requires at least 4-5 months and it is globally accepted.
2.) GRE score is valid for 5 years and many abroad universities take into account GRE score.
3.) If you decide to take admission in abroad then do go for GRE.
4.) Being a biotechnology graduate the scope in abroad is good and hence give it a try
5.) It is less competitive and it requires around 25k -30 k for preparation.

What is the score required in GRE and TOEFL for Masters in Data science in Carnegie Mellon university?
There is no definite cutoff score. There is no assurance of getting an admit from CMU even if a student has a perfect score of 340. The decision depends on a variety of factors. A GRE score above 325 would be a decent bet for CMU. However, the GRE score needs to be complemented by a balanced profile, strong letters of recommendation and a well-written SOP
A good CGPA, relevant research projects and publications, internships, previous academic records, and work experience also contributes greatly.
As far as TOEFL is concerned, even the bare minimum should be enough. It is only a proof of your knowledge in English.
Hope this helps!
What is the required GRE score (in special subject i.e. physics ) to get admissions in Caltech masters programme in astrophysics.

You need to have the following to increase your chances of selection:
- Good Statement of purpose (SOP)
- Extra Curricular Activities
- Good Academic record with accomplishments
To be on a safer side one should score 320+ in GRE, and be in the top 90th percentile.
