Document Requirements for Getting PR in UK

The list of documents one must have on hand while submitting a UK PR application is as follows:

  1. A passport that is still valid or other recognised documentation verifying nationality and identity.

  2. Evidence of English proficiency such as scores in IELTS or TOEFL.

  3. Document with occupation code.

  4. The name and sponsor licence number of the employer will be listed on the sponsorship certificate.

  5. The reference number on the sponsorship certificate (given by the employer).

Here is the application process to get PR in UK after study.

  1. Recognize the UK PR requirements for students.

  2. Choose the appropriate application type, then fill out the online form.

  3. If students fit into any of the following categories while residing and working in UK, they must complete the SET (O) application: They must have a work visa or are its holder's dependent; are an entrepreneur, an investor, a Tier 1 or Tier 2 immigrant, a self-employed lawyer, a writer, composer, or artist; or have descended from the UK, etc.

  4. If students are applying to stay in UK as the partner of someone who is already there or the parent of a child who is already residing there, they must fill out form SET (M).

  5. Application for UK permanent residence for Indian must be done no earlier than 28 days before the end of the qualifying term.

  6. This application process for UK PR also contains a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) application that needs to be filled out.

  7. In addition to meeting the prerequisites, submit form SET along with the documents listed below that are necessary to apply for a PR in UK.

  8. Include payslips to prove that the student is being paid at or above the required rate to be eligible for settling in UK.

  9. Statement information from a personal bank account or building society, including name, account number, statement date, financial institution name, and transactions made by the sponsor.

  10. The student's entire name should be on the back of recent passport-size photos.

  11. Next, fill out the form's personal history section.

  12. After reading the declaration form, sign it.

  13. If students submit their application through the normal methods, they will hear back between 3 to 8 weeks.
