Australian National University offers admissions at undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate research level programmes. For admissions to the programmes, students have to apply in the online mode. Students have the option of applying either directly or indirectly. Students opting for direct admissions, have to apply on the university website, whereas indirect applicants have to apply on the UAC website. Details steps of the application process are given below.
Undergraduate Domestic Students

Before applying students have to select their programme of study and meet entry requirements.
Students have to select a maximum of five co-curricular and service requirement (CCS) activities that they have participated in during years 10 to 12 and attach/upload supporting documentation demonstrating involvement in the selected CCS activities
Next, students have to submit the application form.
After that, ANU will assess the application and documents to select the students.
Undergraduate International Students
Students have to select their programme of study and apply on the website- anu.edu.au.
Students have to submit their application through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), who are completing Australian Year 12, International Baccalaureate or the NCEA Level 3.
To apply through UAC, students have to go the website- uac.edu.au.
Next, click on the apply or log in button and fill the application form.
After that, select the course preference.
Pay the application form fee and submit the application.
Students can log in to the application to check the status of their application and the offers.
Postgraduate Domestic and International Students
Students have to select their programme of study and meet the eligibility requirements.
Students can apply directly on the ANU website or indirectly on the UAC website.
Students have to list six preferences on UAC and three preferences on ANU.
After paying the application form fee, students have to submit the application form.
Students can track the status of their applications and offers by logging into their UAC account.
Direct applicants can check their status on their registered mail ID.
Postgraduate Research Students
Students must find a supervisor and explore ANU’s research opportunities.

Chancellor's International Scholarship is an international scholarship. Under this scholarship scheme, reduction in tuition fees is awarded.
