How to select USMLE 2023 test centres in your location?
Prometric has testing centres spread across the world. So the applicant can easily find and select a convenient USMLE 2023 test centre in their country. But before the candidate can select a USMLE exam centre 2023, he/she has to first get registered for the USMLE 2023 Step or Step Component.
Once registration is done, go to the Prometric website and select a testing date and location to take the test.
Steps to select a USMLE Test Centres 2023
The Prometric conducts different tests like USMLE, TOEFL, and GRE. Select “USMLE” from the given list of exams.
The candidate has to next select the USMLE step or USMLE practice exam.
If Step 1 and Step 2 CK is selected, a list of countries will pop-up. Select your country and state
However if Step 3 is selected, USMLE test centres 2023 in the US and its territories will be displayed and the candidate may select a suitable option.

If you are planning to take the USMLE exam for practicing medicine in the US, please note that there are no specific test dates of USMLE 2023 as such. Rather you have the option of choosing an eligibility period within which to take the USMLE exam. The USMLE exam would be administered within that period. That being said, the eligibility period cannot fall in the first week of January and on major holidays, even though the USMLE exam is available round the year. Once the USMLE applicant selects an eligibility period as per the Step (or Step component) they are appearing in, they will be issued a scheduling permit along with an eligibility period. The candidate can use the scheduling permit to schedule the test through the relevant website.
USMLE 2023: Scheduling the test
Issue of scheduling permit: The permit will be issued upon successful registration for the exam along with the eligibility period.
Appointment Scheduling: After receiving a scheduling permit, the test can be scheduled online with Prometric. Applicants have to share their email id and phone number to schedule the test.
Locate a test centre: Once the test date is scheduled, select a convenient USMLE 2023 test centre. Enter your address or the name of the city to get a list of USMLE test centres available within a distance of 400 miles.
Confirm seat availability: It is important that the preferred test centre is not filled up, or else it will not be available. Also note that USMLE 2023 testing date should be within the selected eligibility period.
Selecting the USMLE testing date: If there are available seats in the preferred USMLE test centres 2023, book the test date.
