How to select USMLE 2018 test centres in your country?
Once a candidate is registered for the examination, he/she can then visit the Prometric website to select a testing date and location to take the test.
Steps to select your USMLE test centres 2018:
The Prometric conducts a variety of test like USMLE, GRE, TOEFL etc. Candidates have to select the test sponsor, “USMLE” and click search.
The next page asks the candidates to select one of the USMLE Steps i.e. or USMLE practice exam.
As the candidate selects the exam, s/he is taken to the next page where they can select the country and state.
The candidate needs to select from a list of countries where the exam is conducted if USMLE Step 1 or Step 2 is selected.
Selecting Step 3 only displays the USA and its territories, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
The next page displays the following options:
Scheduling permit: Before locating the USMLE test centre in your country and scheduling a testing appointment, you need to get a scheduling permit from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Candidates can get a scheduling permit when applying for USMLE.
Appointment Scheduling: After receiving a scheduling permit from ECFMG, international students can schedule their testing appointment online with Prometric. Applicants have to provide an email address and phone number in order to schedule their test.
Locate a test centre: After the candidates have scheduled an appointment, they can locate the most convenient USMLE 2018 test centre. They are required to enter their address or name of the city to get a list of USMLE test centres within a distance of 400 miles.
Confirming seat availability: After the candidates have located their USMLE 2018 test centre, they have to confirm whether the test centre has availability for the testing date. Candidates should keep in mind that their USMLE 2018 testing date should be within the selected eligibility period i.e. 3 months or 12 months.

USMLE 2018 test centres for Step 2 CS
The USMLE 2018 Step 2 CS can only be taken in the US. Prometric has 6 USMLE Step 2 CS test centres arranged. The USMLE 2018 Step 2 CS test centres are located in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The test centres are also subject to availability. International students are advised to select any of these USMLE test centres 2018 at these locations through ECFMG.
USMLE 2018 Test Centres for Step 3 CS
The USMLE 2018 Step 3, like USMLE Step 2 CS, can be only taken in the USA, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. USMLE Step 3 aspirants are required to select the USMLE 2018 Step 3 test centre through Prometric similar to the steps done in USMLE Step 1 and Step 2.
