4. This test is standardised by the Government of Italy

For all the public universities in Italy, it is compulsory to evaluate students with a common standardised test, because all candidates applying to these colleges must be evaluated fairly. Any unfair measure can deter the reputation of MUR and Italian educational institutes

For this reason, the Government of Italy centralised all the seats of public medical universities and introduced the IMAT test. This test ensures that there's no unfair means of evaluation, either in the format or by the marking scheme.
