LSAT Registration Abroad - The LSAT is a well-known law exam required by most universities globally. Mostly in the US, Canada, Australia and many other countries. The full form of the LSAT is the Law School Admission Test; it is a standardised test given by students who are willing to apply for law studies. Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is the exam conducting body, which accepts LSAT Abroad applications in two modes: online through the lsac.org account or by phone.

For registration of the LSAT Abroad exam online, the applicant will have to first create an applicant account by entering details like name, and email ID, and choosing a username and password. During the LSAT 2024 registration, one also has to select an LSAT test centre from where to take the exam.
LSAT 2024 exam has two parts. Part I will have five 35-minute sections - one reading comprehension, one analytical reasoning, two logical reasoning sections, and an unscored variable section. LSAT Part II will be an unscored writing sample, called LSAT Writing, of 35 minutes duration.

The LSAT test dates vary depending on the administration date; the administration dates for January and April are over. Whereas, for the June 2024 administration, the following are the LSAT test dates for international:

For registration for LSAT 2024 online, the applicant needs to follow the steps mentioned below.
Creation of LSAC.org Account - The applicant has to choose a username and password for the account. Then confirm the password. Also, enter your name and email ID.
Log-in to fill registration form - In this section fill in personal, residential, residency/citizenship, ethnic, and contact details. Ethnic information also has to be filled in.
The candidate may choose from the following ethnicities when filling out LSAT Application Form:

Black or African American

Canadian Aboriginal

Payment of application fee - The candidate has to next pay the application fee online mode.
Submission of application form - Check that all the requisite details are in place before submitting it.
Online payments can be made using VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and DISCOVER credit cards (amount to be charged in U.S. dollars).
Candidates filling LSAT application form must note that all fees will be charged in U.S. dollars. In the case of students living outside of the United States, taxes and exchange rates would impact the fee.

The test date will not change through the test administration’s registration deadline of the candidate.
Once the candidate registers for the LSAT exam, they can request for full refund of the registration fee through their test’s refund deadline. In general, the full refund deadline is the same as the deadline for LSAT test date registration.
If the full refund deadline has been completed, the applicant can request for partial refund, which is Rs. 4.2K (USD 50), through the partial refund deadline of the examination.
The LSAC has specific requirements for each country, which can be checked by the applicant before applying.
Academic or transcript records: the academic records are the scores or grades achieved in the previous qualification. If the academic records are not in English language then the students need to provide an official translated document along with the official records.
Any Certificate, Diploma, Degree or Professional License: certificates
Translations: if the document is in any other language than English.
For identification, the LSAC requires; a recent and recognisable photo of the candidate along with their first name, last name, and date of birth.

During the testing period of 2023–2024, the LSAT continues with the three-section test; analytical reasoning, reading comprehension and logical reasoning. The beginning of the August 2024 administration may come with a change in the three-section score pattern, which will be two sections of logical reasoning and one section of reading comprehension
The LSAT has been offered remotely and in test centres. There will be a 10-minute break in the LSAT exam for all the exam takers between the second and third sections.
For the full refund of the registration fee request through your test’s full refund deadline, which is the same as the test’s registration deadline. Whereas, if the full refund deadline has passed, the applicant can request a partial refund of Rs. 4.2K (USD 50) through their test’s partial refund deadline on the LSAT status page.
The LSAT exam dates can be changed only after the registration deadline is passed and that should be done 38 days before the test begins. The test date change fee is Rs. 11.2K (USD 135) to Rs. 18.5K (USD 222).
The total attempts for the LSAT exam are seven times in a lifetime and five times within the current reportable score period.
