LSAT Registration 2019 – The Law School Admission Test or LSAT 2019 is a prerequisite for prospective law school students who want to gain admission in universities in the USA, Canada and a few other specific nations. The LSAT 2019 registration which is to be administered globally by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) can be carried out online, via mail and via phone. Applicants are provided with a choice for their preferred test center as well as preferred test date for LSAT 2019. How to Register for LSAT 2019?

Prospective LSAT candidates have the option of LSAT registration 2019 in a variety of ways as per their requirement. Of all three methods, the most popular method for LSAT 2019 registration is the online method which can be carried out through the LSAC web portal. The three different methods for LSAT registration are:

  • Online through the LSAC web portal

  • Via phone

  • Via email


Online LSAT Registration 2019

In order to register for LSAT 2019, candidates must create a new LSAC account on the LSAC web portal. Subsequently, candidates will be given an account number, using which the candidate can register for a specific test, view scores, and carry out any other procedure associated with LSAT. 


Although the LSAT 2019 eligibility does not restrict interested applicants in appearing for the LSAT exam, the candidates must adhere to the eligibility requirements for their specific law school and/or university of application prior to LSAT registration. Prospective law school applicants can go through different school application forms using their LSAC account. Candidates can also apply for and use the Credential Assembly Service provided by LSAC in order to collect all required documentation as well as LSAT scores prior to sending them to prospective law schools making the college application procedure much more simple.

  • Available registration windows for the LSAT are provided on weekdays in the range of:

    • September 2018 to February 2019 (8:30 AM – 6 PM ET)

    • March 2019 to August 2019 (8:30 AM – 4:45 PM ET)

The method of registration for LSAT 2019 through e-mail requires the candidates to log on to LSAC’s web portal. 

Prospective candidates need to provide the following details in order to register for test:


  • Personal details: The personal details required for LSAT 2019 registration include items like first and last name, birthdate, social security number etc. 

  • Permanent residential address: A permanent and complete postal address is required for LSAT registration 2019.

  • Residency/Citizenship: Citizenship and residency details are required which include the candidate’s nation of permanent residency, any countries of secondary residency, state of residency etc.

  • Ethnic information: Details regarding the candidate’s ethnicity are required for the LSAT registration process although candidates also have the option to ‘decline to respond’ if they don’t feel comfortable sharing this information with LSAC.

  • Screen Reader User: The last segment of the LSAT 2019 registration process is specific to visually impaired test takers who are required to specify if they use the screen reader software for the LSAC web portal.


LSAT Registration Fees 2019

The registration fee for LSAT 2019 is USD $190 which is refundable in case the candidate wishes to withdraw from an LSAT session. An additional fee of USD $150 is applicable for candidates who require a change in the test date or test center. Hand-scored LSAT test reports also call for an additional fee.  LSAT Registration 2019: Frequently Asked Questions


Question - Can the LSAT 2019 registration be withdrawn if the deadline for a refund has passed?

Answer  - Yes. Candidates have the provision to withdraw their LSAT registration 2019 even after the refund deadline. The deadline for registration withdrawal is provided on the LSAC web portal and generally lasts until 11:59 PM Eastern Time, the night prior to the test. A fact to note is that no refund will be provided for withdrawal after the refund deadline. 


Question - Will a refund be issued upon withdrawal of LSAT registration 2019? 

Answer  - Yes, if the candidate submits a complete and signed refund request form prior to the refund deadline for the specific test date, then the candidate is eligible for a partial refund of the LSAT 2019 registration fee from LSAC.


Question - If the LSAT registration has already been completed and some changes are required in the entered biographical information, how will these changes be incorporated? 

Answer  - In such a situation, applicants should submit a complete and signed form for Biographical Information Changes to LSAC along with a valid photo-ID with the correct information. Remaining biographical information regarding the candidate can be changed and updated via the candidate’s account. For verification purposes, all update requests  are to be accompanied by a copy of the candidate's valid photo-ID. The candidate should keep in mind that for admittance to the LSAT test center, the details of the photo-ID should be identical to the details mentioned in the LSAT 2019 admit card

As per the basic eligibility criteria of LSAT INDIA 2020 for 3 years LLB program, is that, the candidate applying for this course must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institute scoring minimum 45% marks in aggregate. There is no upper age limit for applying.

As per my knowledge, to get admission in IFIM Law college in Bangalore, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, which includes that the candidate must qualify either of the entrance exams (CLAT, LSAT, AILET or ILAT).

Also, the applicant should have passed PUC with atleast 45% marks.

The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized test to assess one’s aptitude for studying Law. LSAT is an integral part of admission process for law schools in United States, Canada and some other countries abroad.
