When it comes to language barriers, Russia is one of the top countries that offers English-taught courses to overcome them. As many students find it difficult to adapt to the new language, especially in academia, medical universities in Russia have introduced MBBS courses in English on par with current European academic standards to meet ongoing student demand.

Why are English-taught MBBS Courses necessary for Indian Students?

Across India, institutions have English as their primary mode of instruction. Even though every local area has its own language, the curriculum is still taught in English. This enables students to read, write and speak the language, which is also their academic language. This helps students to be proficient in the language and understand their subjects better. Moreover, students prefer to continue in one language until graduation because choosing another might disrupt their learning process, as it takes time to adapt.

This makes English-taught courses necessary for Indian students, as most of them who use English as their primary academic language would like to continue their undergraduate studies in the same language. This removes the language barrier in their new country and helps them to adapt better to the new curriculum, helping them to comprehend their subjects with utmost clarity.

Subjects in MBBS courses demand a high level of focus and a comprehensive approach, as they require coherence across the biological sciences. In order to understand the subjects effectively, students need to be proficient in the language that is used for communication and instruction. This is why English-taught courses are necessary, as most Indian students have English as their primary academic language.
