The SAT results are released within two to four weeks of the exam date. The result for the upcoming exam on November 8, 2025 will be declared on November 21, 2025. Candidates can log into their accounts to download their SAT score reports. The overall SAT scores range between 400 to 1600 and the average SAT score is 1050. How to Check SAT Results 2025?

Students can check their score card on their College Board account by following the given instructions:

Step 1: Visit the College Board's official website.

Step 2: Click on 'Sign in' in the top right corner.

Step 3: Click on 'Student'.

Step 4: Start by entering your email address.

Step 5: Click on the 'My Organiser' option and click on 'SAT test score'.

Step 6: Now, click on 'Access My Score'.

Step 7: Enter your username and password.

Step 8: Click on 'My Test Score'.

Step 9: Your SAT scores will be displayed on the screen.

How to Verify SAT Results 2025?

Candidates can apply for verification of SAT exam results 2025 to double-check their test scores if found to be different from their expectations. However, the College Board assesses SAT results 2025 through cautious and systematic quality control processes to ensure the scores' accuracy. Nonetheless, errors are to be expected given that the reader is not able to access the online essay. In these circumstances, candidates can call Customer Service at +1-212-713-7789. Applicants can apply for SAT result check for up to 5 months after the test date, starting when they complete the test.

How to Cancel SAT Results?

Candidates who are not satisfied with their exam performance can request cancellation of their candidature before the announcement of the SAT results. Students can apply for cancellation at the test center or after they leave the test center.

  • At the test centre: If you are not satisfied with your SAT exam performance, you can apply for a result cancellation right then and there at the SAT test centre. Ask the supervisor for a ‘Request to Cancel Test Scores’ form, fill in all the details, and submit the form to the supervisor for cancellation.
  • At home: Students can request a cancellation directly to the College Board before 11:59 PM (IST) Eastern Time one week after their test date. Visit the College Board website, under 'My Scores', click 'Unsure about scores?' and agree to the SAT score cancellation, followed by instructions.

What is a Good SAT Score?

A good score range may vary among students, as on their goals and performance. On average, a score above 1200 is considered a good SAT score. An average SAT score is around 1050. However, this may vary every year. However, a student can score up to 1600 as a maximum score.

What is a SAT Superscore?

An SAT superscore is the combination of a candidate's highest section scores across all the SAT exams in which they have appeared. For example, if a candidate has scored 80 points more in the Reading and Writing sections than in the previous attempt, but 10 points less in the Maths section. Then his/her superscore will be a combination of the scores from the Math section on their first SAT and the Reading and Writing section on the second SAT.

What is SAT Archived Score Reporting?

Candidates who have not appeared for an SAT for more than a year then the College Board archives their SAT scores and certain information that they have provided about themselves during testing. Candidates can order their SAT archived scores by phone or mail to send them to colleges, universities, and scholarship programmes. Candidates need to pay a USD 35 fee and the standard fee for additional score reports, USD 14, to get their SAT scores.

How to Send SAT Results 2025 to Universities Abroad?

To send their SAT score reports to universities abroad, candidates can select the universities/colleges at the time of SAT registration. When you register for the SAT, you get four free score reports to send to universities that accept SAT scores. These reports are sent out at no cost when you sign up. However, if you need to send additional SAT test results, there will be a fee. If you want to change, add, or remove your free score recipients, make sure to do that within nine days after your test. For those looking to send extra score reports to colleges or universities overseas, there’s a fee of $14 for each additional scorecard.
