With the new SAT digital, all the results dates, exam dates, registration dates for both Indian and other international students are the same. How to Check SAT Results 2024?

Once, the College Board releases the digital SAT exam results, here are some of the ways to access your official scores.

• Paper score reports: Candidates who don't have active College Board online accounts can get their SAT results through mail.

• Print your SAT scores (Desktop only): Students can get a printout of their SAT exam results by logging into their College Board account.

• SAT exam results by phone: On the day of the SAT exam, students can receive their phone results for an additional charge. Typically, 8 AM ET is the time that is used for SAT results.

Steps to Check SAT Results 2024

Students can check their score card on their College Board account by following the given instructions:

• Step 1: Visit the College Board's official website at collegeboard.org.

• Step 2: Click on Sign in on the top right corner.

• Step 3: Click on “Student”.

• Step 4: Start by entering your email address.

• Step 5: Click on My Organisation and go to SAT scores.

• Step 6: Now click on “Access My Scores”.

• Step 7: Enter your username and password.

• Step 8: Go to “My Test Scores”.

• Step 9: The latest SAT scores will be displayed on the screen.

• Step 10: Click on "Download Report."

• Step 11: Save the SAT result 2024 pdf for your records.

How to Verify Your SAT Result?

Candidates can apply for verification of SAT exam results to double-check their test scores if found to be different from their expectations. However, the conducting College Board assesses SAT results 2024 through cautious and systematic quality control processes to ensure the score's accuracy. Nonetheless, errors are to be expected given that the reader is not able to access the online essay. In these circumstances, candidates have three options for requesting a reevaluation of their SAT result:

How to Cancel SAT Result?

Candidates who are not satisfied with their exam performance can request for cancellation of their candidature before the announcement of the SAT results time. Students can apply for cancellation at the test center or after you leave the test center.

• At the test centre: If you are not satisfied with your SAT exam performance, you can apply for a result cancellation right then and there at the test centre. Ask the supervisor for a ‘Request to Cancel Test Scores’ form, fill in all the details, and submit the form to the supervisor for cancellation.
• At home: Students can request a cancellation directly to the College Board before 11:59 PM (IST) on a Wednesday after the test date from their home. Visit the College Board website to download ‘Request to Cancel Test Scores’ online, fill in all the details, sign it, and fax it or speed-post/courier it overnight.

How SAT Results Calculated?

The SAT test results do not indicate a pass or fail. A 400–1600 scale is used to report the overall SAT score range, with 400 representing the lowest score and 1600 representing the highest. Generally, a good SAT score is above 1200 scale. It's common knowledge that a strong SAT score is necessary for admission to prestigious international universities. Applicants can view their SAT results 2024 next to their percentile and overall score, allowing them to compare their results with those of other applicants.

Candidates who have not appeared for an SAT for more than a year then the College Board archives their SAT scores and certain information that have provided about themselves during testing. Candidates can order their SAT archived scores by phone or mail to send them to the colleges, universities, and scholarship programmes. Candidates need to pay a USD 31 fee and the standard fee for additional score reports USD 12 to get their SAT scores.

How to send the SAT Results 2024 to the universities?

The conducting body, the College Board, has provided two methods to share the SAT results with the universities. Candidates can select the universities/colleges at the time of SAT registration to send their SAT results automatically to the chosen college after the result declaration. However, students can also opt for paid regular score reporting options to send their scorecards to universities and colleges.

• Sign in to the College Board account

• Go to the SAT scores page

• Choose the prompt about fee waiver based on the applicability

• Select the institutions or colleges by name/code

• Add one or more institutions to the list

• Click on "Continue"

• Review the page

• Check out by paying additional fees

Note: Candidates can send SAT results to a maximum of 4 universities or colleges free of cost anytime between the registration and 9 days after the test.
