CELPIP Test Results

You can view your CELPIP test results online through your CELPIP account in 4-5 calendar days after taking the test. Once your CELPIP score for PR is available, you will receive a notification through email. Also, once your CELPIP scores are posted, you will be able to access your CELPIP official score report. You can download your CELPIP test scores from your CELPIP login account through a period of two years from the test date.

CELPIP additional score

There are three options for the additional score report of CELPIP results- hard copy official score report, priority shipping, and score re-evaluation.

Hard copy official score report

You can order hard copy for official scores report through your CELPIP login account for an extra charge and proceed to CELPIP result download.

Priority shipping

You can also opt for priority shipping of the hard copy of your CELPIP results report at an extra charge, depending on your address.

Score re-evaluation

You can get the re-evaluation of CELPIP exam results done for some or all components of the CELPIP test for PR within six months of your test dates.

Score report options

Your CELPIP online score reports can be accessed through your CELPIP account. Also, through your CELPIP login, you can order priority shipping and also order printed copies of your score report along with additional copies of your score report.

CELPIP Test Results Time

The CELPIP results time for the official score report is 4-5 business days from your test date. Note that CELPIP result time can be long if consecutive days include weekends or holidays. You can order the hard copy of your official score report within two years of your test date. You have to pay an additional charge of $20 CAD for each score report of CELPIP results. The validity of your CELPIP scores vary as per the institutions you are applying to. It is better to check the same with individual institutions you are submitting your CELPIP score reports to. As far as CELPIP score re-evaluation is concerned, you can apply for some or all the components of the CELPIP test within six months of your test date. The fee for CELPIP results re-evaluation depends on the component you are getting re-evaluated. Re-evaluation requests are final and cannot be canceled once they are placed.

How are the CELPIP writing and speaking scores determined?

There are multiple raters that assess your performances in the CELPIP writing and speaking components. There are at least three speaking raters that assess your performance in the CELPIP speaking section. Similarly, there are at least four writing raters that assess your performance in the CELPIP writing section.The raters work independently and are not allowed to influence one another’s decisions. When the assessment by individual raters are completed, and if they are in agreement with one another, a benchmark rater, who is a more experienced rater, is assigned. The benchmark raters perform the final assessment. The final speaking and writing scores are derived from the ratings provided by the raters, which are then translated into a CELPIP level.
