Currently, the post-study work visa in UK (graduate route visa) allows students to stay in the UK for two years (24 months), after completing their studies to look for job opportunities. However, it has been shortened to 1.5 years(18 months).
A student applying under the student immigration route on or post April 9, 2025 are not required to demonstrate academic progress, in case they decide to make a new visa application.
