How to Pay the OET Exam Fees 2025?

All aspiring candidates applying for the OET test 2025 must pay the necessary exam fees to book their exam slot. Candidates can browse through the online booking platform on oet.com to complete their OET test registration. Students can follow the steps below to complete their OET test booking:

• Step 1: Visit the official website at oet.com.
• Step 2: Create an OET account to register for the OET test.
• Step 3: Log in to your account.
• Step 4: Select a preferred test location that is OET on Paper (at a venue), OET on Computer (at a venue), or OET@Home (remote testing).
• Step 5: Click on “Book Now”.
• Step 6: Fill out the necessary information and follow all the prompts.
• Step 7: Candidates will get 15 minutes to complete their OET test booking after they select their test date.
• Step 8: Pay the OET exam fees.
• Step 9: The exam authority will send a confirmation email confirming the OET test booking.

Applicants can apply for the rescheduling of their original OET test dates by logging into their official OET account. The rescheduling fee for the OET test varies depending on the test type, venue, and the rescheduling time. However, candidates must complete their request following the latest rescheduling OET exam fees and deadlines guidelines.

The rescheduling of the OET exam is available up to 23:59 pm the day before the test. Note that the booking for the OET exam on paper at a venue closes 24 days before the exam date.

Guidelines for OET Exam Rescheduling

• You can only reschedule all the sub-tests at once when you have a test booking.
• Once you have made the change to your test date, you cannot request an earlier OET exam date.
• You can not reschedule an OET test that was registered using a discount code.

The rescheduling for OET on the Computer at a venue or OET at Home is available for up to two days before the start of your first sub-test. However the booking for the OET on computer at a venue and OET at home closes 7 days before the OET exam date.

Guidelines for Rescheduling OET Exam 2025

• You have the option to reschedule all four sub-tests at once, or you can choose to reschedule just the Speaking sub-test.
• If you have already completed one of the sub-tests, you won't be able to request a reschedule for the others.
• You can not reschedule an OET test that was registered using a discount code.

Exception: If you miss your Speaking sub-test, it is important to reach out to OET Support within 24 hours of your scheduled test time to arrange a new date. There is a fee of AUD 100. If you do not reschedule your Speaking sub-test, you will end up with a Speaking score of zero, which will show up as a blank on your Statement of Results.

OET Cancellation Fees 2025

The cancellation fee for the OET exam depends on when you cancel test and the type of test you are taking (on paper, on a computer at a venue, or OET at Home).

OET on Paper at a venue: Cancel one week before the scheduled OET test date to get the refund, latest by 11:59 pm.

OET on Computer at a venue or OET at Home: Cancel two days before the scheduled OET test date to get the refund.

How to Cancel the OET Exam 2025?

Step 2: Select My Bookings on the screen.

Step 3: Select the OET test booking that you plan to cancel and click Cancel or Withdraw.

OET Exam Fees Refund 2025

The OET does not offer a complete refund of the test booking after the candidate applies for a cancellation of their test date. However, a partial refund is made by the official authority within 7-10 business days after the test cancellation. The amount refunded is completely dependent on the time of cancellation, test types, and format of the test. When will I receive my OET refund?

What if you fail OET?

If you do not pass the OET exam, and you plan to retake the exam, then you will need to pay the full exam fee again each attempt. Although there is no limit on the number of attempts for the OET exam, each new attempt will incur the standard fee, which includes all four sub-tests.
