    One of the major requirements for the Germany student visa is proof of funds. You will have to prove that you have enough funds to support yourself while studying in Germany. You require at least EUR 11,904 per year, which is about EUR 992 per month for your first year. For this you can provide the following documents.

    • A deposit confirmation showing that you have €11,904 in a German blocked bank account.

    • A scholarship certificate.

    • A letter of commitment from a German resident (Verpflichtungserklärung) stating they can support your expenses while you are studying.

    • Valid proof of your parents’ income and financial assets, like a bank statement or job contract.

    • A bank guarantee issued to you by a recognized bank.

    Proof of English Language Proficiency

    You will need to provide proof of your language skills in the language of instruction for your study program in Germany. For English language courses in Germany, candidates usually need to achieve an IELTS score between 6.0 and 6.5 or an equivalent score in other English proficiency exams. For German language courses, a minimum of B2 level proficiency in German is generally required. Make sure to include the original document and two copies of the result. Only certificates recognized by the German government will be accepted, such as those from the Goethe Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan, OSD, IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge Assessment English.
