There are several United world colleges (UWC) programs for Indian students to help them study in the US after 10th grade. As an Indian citizen who is either in the first or second year of high school (10th or 11th class), you are eligible to apply through the UWC committee of India. However, you must demonstrate high potential and financial need for this program as it is need-based.
You must note that the selection process for this program is rigorous, and the acceptance rate is just 1.5%. The application process for UWC programs generally begins in August and closes by March, every year.
This non-profit scholarship organization offers merit-based scholarships for high school students to study in top private schools in the USA. This program covers tuition, accommodation, and other expenses. If you are an Indian student entering 10th or 11th grade, able to demonstrate high proficiency in English language, able to study in the US for 10 months, and then go back to your home country, and not a US citizen, then you are eligible to apply for ASSIST.
The Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Programs are fully funded student exchange programs. The US Department of State administers these programs, building mutual understanding and respect between the US and other nations. These are merit-based programs for students who are enrolled either in 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade when applying for this. If you are applying for this program, then you must not have spent more than 90 days in the US in the last five years.
The selection process is rigorous, and applicants are required to take any English proficiency test, submit an essay, fill the YES program application, and then you need to be part of group and in-person interviews.

There are many ways to choose your university such as fees, the ranking of the university, which state it is located and scholarships. My suggestion is to choose your research focus and write academic papers.
