According to QS, the University of Melbourne tops the chart of best engineering colleges in Australia, and stands in the 18th position among the world's top universities. The university offers various engineering programmes like Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Computer & Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, among others.

 

Aspirants applying to the university will also have access to its various research centres like the Advanced Centre for Automotive Research and Testing (ACART), Centre for Neural Engineering and Melbourne Energy Institute, to name a few.

 

How to apply:

For admission at the University of Melbourne, you will need to follow these steps:

  • Register yourself on the website, after which you will receive an ID and password

  • Login and enter all the required details, upload the academic transcripts along with necessary documents.

  • Once complete, click ‘submit’ and you will receive an e-mail from the university.

If required, aspirants will have to submit reference letters and a statement of purpose. The number of letters may vary according to the programme. Students will have to take English proficiency tests like IELTS or TOEFL with a score of 6.5 and 79 plus, respectively.

 

Applicants, generally, open around August and September and the tentative closing dates are around October and March.

University of New South WalesUniversity of New South Wales (UNSW)

Engineering studies in Australia is incomplete without the mention of University of New South Wales(UNSW) that ranks number 21 among the top engineering colleges in the world. But its reputation as a quality engineering college doesn't just end there. According to QS, five engineering specialisations of UNSW -- civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical and computer science -- rank among the top 40 faculties in the world in their respective disciplines. What further boosts the university's image as a provider of  international education is its student exchange programmes, which is spread across 145 universities in 26 countries. 

 

How to apply:

To apply in one of the top engineering colleges in Australia, aspirants will have to submit their academic transcripts along with other supplemental documents like test scores of IELTS or TOEFL. In IELTS and TOEFL, one must score minimum 6.5 in and 90 IBT, respectively. However, the scores many vary as per the programmes. Apart from test scores, applicants will have to submit letters of recommendation and a statement of purpose. 

 

Admissions start in February and July. It is recommended that you apply at least 4 months before the new semester starts and so that you can have plenty of time to take care of the student visa and funding process.

 

Tuition fees: The tuition fee for UG programme is $40,360 whereas for a PG programme it is $38,880.

 

The University of SydneyThe University of Sydney

Ranked among the top 30 engineering colleges in the world, the University of Sydney's engineering school boasts of offering training in five engineering branches and over 10 engineering centres and associations. Situated in the heart of Sydney, the engineering and information technology faculty, also hosts two key events in the engineering education space -- the Dean's International Lecture series and the Research Conversazione, an international reserach event.

 

How to Apply:

For admission into one of the top engineering colleges in Australia, applicants will have to submit their academic transcripts online along with other necessary documents supporting their admission form. Applicants will also have to submit reference letters along with a short essay if mentioned in the application form. UG applicants will need to submit SAT scores. Admission to PG programmes depends on the applicants' previous academic records and experince in the field. Apart from that, applicants will also have to submit scores of IELTS or TOEFL as proof of English proficiency. One will need to score a minimum of 6.5 in IELTS and 85 score in TOEFL, however the scores may slightly vary as per the programme.

 

The closing dates for the applications are January for Semester 1 and June for Semester 2, however it is recommended that applicants start applying at the earliest.

Monash UniversityMonash University

According to the QS world ranking, Monash University sits at the 39th position among the top engineering colleges in the world. The university is also a part of the Group of Eight universities in Australia which includes world renowned universities like The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney and UNSW.Further, Monash is known to have the largest engineering faculty in Australia and offers a wide range of full-time scholarships for international students.

 

How to Apply:

To apply in Monash University, applicants must first register on the official website after which they will be given an ID and password to login and apply. Applicants will have to fill in the details and upload required academic transcripts. Depending on the programme, candidates also have to submit letters of recommendation and an essay stating why they wants to pursue engineering from the university. The applicants are also required to submit a CV if the course requires prior work experience.

 

Apart from these documents, applicants will have to take SAT for admission to UG programmes. For PG programmes, applicants must score 6.5 in IELTS and 79 in TOEFL. GRE is not mandatory, however, if the applicant has GRE scores that can be shared along with other tests results.

 

Applicants can start applying online in early August till late November as the semester begins in March and July. The best part is that the university offers rolling admission and international students can apply anytime throughout the year.

The University of QueenslandThe University of Queensland

Founded in 1909, the University of Queensland sits at the 40th position among the top engineering faculties in the world. The university, which is currently home to over 12000 international students,  offers a wide range of engineering specialisations like electrical engineering, software engineering and systems engineering, among others. Further, the University of Queensland boasts of various research facilities and laboratories like the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) research laboratory, environmental laboratories and industry testing facilities, to name a few.

 

How to Apply:

To begin the application procedure, applicants will first have to register themselves, following which they will receive an ID and password to fill the application form online.  Reference letters and statement of purpose depend on the particular programme. Some common English proficiency tests to be taken by the applicants are IELTS or TOEFL, where one will have to score minimum 6.5 and 87, respectively.

 

Application closing dates for 1st semester is January 31 and for 2nd semester June 30, however the dates may vary depending on the specific programme.

 

Tuition fee for UG programme is $36,608 and for PG programme is $33,280.

can i get mba application in australia i am btech discontinued students

see mba is a post graduate course, so first of all you need to complete your graduation, then you are eligible to apply for mba, in india most of the institute required 50% marks in graduation as a qualifying marks criteria for mba admission. since you have discontinued your graduation course you are not eligible to study  mba neither in india nor in abroad.

Hello aspirant. Compared to many other countries in terms of cost and education, it is comparatively easier to get admission in autpstralia to study MBBS. The courses offered are proper 4 years degree with even the fee also reasonable.

After your +2, soon the applications release, go on. And it won't take much of a process to apply. So fair chances to get the admission over there

Hello aspirant. So mbbs in Australia has usually the duration will be of 4 years. Fee structure depends on university. Some of the famous universities are

1. University of Sydney with fee structure of 64,500 Australian dollar per year

2. Flinders university with fee structure of 63,500 aud again

3. University of Queensland with fee structure of 73,264 aud

MBBS in America

Here, it's not like an mbbs degree. You need to complete any undergraduation degree in india in science subject and then give mcat. There are two degrees MD and DO. Depends on your choice, you can choose the degree. So per year , this degree cost around 40,000 usd to 50,000 usd. So for 4 years. More or less it costs like around 2,00,000 usd.
