    About Curtin University

    Curtin University, formerly known as Curtin University of Technology and Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT), is an Australian public research university based in Bentley, Perth, Western Australia, and was established in 1966. Students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions to Curtin University in 2024 must submit their applications by February 8, 2024. However, the university has an acceptance rate of 50-56% and accepts one out of every two applications received, making admission less difficult for candidates. 

    Curtin University is particularly well-known for its resources-related programs, such as mineral and mining engineering, geology, and geophysics.
