Student villages at the Joondalup, Mount Lawley and South West campuses are operated by student accommodation company Campus Living Villages. The villages consist of single and multi-room units with shared self-catering facilities, and they provide a modern, friendly environment. There is a wide range of apartment styles, including recently developed apartments, to suit a variety of budgets.
All new developments feature National Rental Affordability Scheme approved dwellings, offering tenants rent at below market prices. All villages are located on-campus and close to all campus facilities. Local shops and sport and recreation facilities are within walking distance, or easily accessible by public transport.

For ECU admission, an applicant must be at least 18 years old. International applicants from non-English speaking countries must meet the minimum English language criteria in order to be admitted to the university. They must also have a 3-year Bachelor degree.
All courses offered by ECU are taught in English language, hence applicants must be able to show their English language skills. The candidates are required to submit documentation of their Year 12 coursework, IELTS / TOEFL test results, Pearson English Test results, or an equivalent. The scores required for admission are:
