PTE Score Report

Once you finish your PTE exam, you will get your PTE Score Report and Skills Profile. These tools will help elaborate on your test score, language skills, and highlight areas where you can improve. The PTE exam assesses a candidate on an overall score ranging from 10 to 90. In addition to the overall score, candidates receive individual scores for their communicative skills, which will highlight their strengths and improvement areas. These scores are measured against the Global Scale of English (GSE). Additionally, you will receive a Skills Profile that provides an overview of how you performed across various language skills, along with suggestions to help you boost your English proficiency.

PTE Result Validity?

PTE result is valid for up to 2 years from the PTE exam date. After the expiry of the test results, the PTE scorecard is removed from the official PTE account page.

The PTE scoring system uses AI technologies to evaluate answers. Some responses are judged purely on whether they are right or wrong, while others depend on criteria, like word limits, quality of the response, fluency, pronunciation, etc. To provide a thorough and fair assessment of a candidate’s English skills, the PTE scoring system uses two methods:

Most of the top Canadian universities accept PTE scores to evaluate the English language proficiency of international students. The minimum PTE scores for Canada is approximately 58 to 65 for undergraduate programmes and 65 to 75 for postgraduate programmes.
