International students can use PTE score card to demonstrate their English language proficiency for an Australian visa. A minimum PTE score of 42 is generally accepted by the Australian government to enroll international students. For students, who have completed at least 10 weeks of English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS), a minimum score of 36 is accepted by most universities. Whereas, a score of 30 is accepted if you do at least 20 weeks of ELICOS.
