All candidates from India must meet the following entry requirements to be admitted to the University of Glasgow.

  • Students must have a minimum average of 75% in relevant subjects from a recognised Central Board (CISCE or CBSE) or Metro state board qualifications.

  • Applicants for postgraduate degrees must have a minimum cumulative 1st division or better throughout all years of their master's degrees from graduates of Indian central, state, or premier public and private institutions. 

  • Theory grades will be given more weight in Science and Engineering degrees, and entrance will be solely at the discretion of the University of Glasgow.

The Glasgow Laboratory for Advanced Detector Development (GLADD) is an electronic device fabrication and test facility housed in a Class 10,000 clean room.
