The university was established in 1881 as a university college, and in 1967 it was granted a royal charter to become an autonomous university. University of Dundee Eligibility

All candidates from India must meet the following entry requirements to be admitted to the University of Dundee.

For undergraduate programmes

  • All Indian Secondary School Examination with grade B2 in each subject

  • or All Indian Senior School Certificate Examination with 45% in each subject

  • or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 with 45%

  • or Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Class X) with grade 3 in each subject or Indian School Certificate (Class XII) with grade 6 in each subject

For postgraduate programmes

  • Bachelor Degree with 45% from a NAAC ‘A’ rated university or 50% from other institutions.

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor degree with grades below 55% or 50% from NAAC ‘A’ rated universities

English language requirements 

Candidates must fulfil English language criteria in order to be considered for admission to International College Dundee's International Incorporated Bachelor's (IIB) or International Incorporated Master's (IIM) courses. Both courses require an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

Cantina provides a laid-back and social setting for dining, drinking, interacting with others, and taking a break from the studio and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. All during the semester, the Chaplaincy Coffee Bar is open for sit-in or take-out service and offers a selection of drinks, sweets, freshly made meals, and wholesome snacks. It is open Monday to Friday. 10:00-15:00.
