  • All candidates must have a minimum of 75% in Higher Secondary School Certificate for Arts, Science and Engineering fields. Students must have a 80% or more for Biomedical sciences and Law subjects. 

  • For entry to year 2 of the Medicine programme, students must have at least 80% overall in Year XII as well as at least 85% in the relevant subject area of the degree they are applying for can apply for entry to Year 2 of 4 or 5 years MA or B.Sc. programme at the University. 

  • For State and Central Universities, a minimum of 60% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 65% overall for graduates.

  • For Private and Deemed Universities,  a minimum of 65% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 70% overall for graduates.

Note: There are a few exceptions for state and national universities, for example, the University of Aberdeen accepts 55% from the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi, and others. Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered, with 55% or more.
