Mount Saint Vincent University which is commonly known as MSVU is a government institution that was established by women for the advancement of women with social responsibility. It was established in 1873 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, Halifax.

2024-25 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary: The awards from these bursaries range from CAD 500 to CAD 2,500 and are available for full-time undergraduate and transfer students. They are non-renewable, non-transferable and are limited in number.

In-Course Bursary: The grant is of nearly CAD 100 to CAD 2,000 per eligible student in this bursary. This bursary is offered to both undergraduate and graduate students and is open to full and part-time students. They are non-renewable, non-transferable and are limited in number. To be eligible, candidates are required to have a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.5.
