The University of Exeter was founded in 1822 which was developed with the aim of changing lives with its teaching and education. The university was initially founded as the Exeter Schools of Art and Science but later in 1922, the university became University College of the South West and then in 1955, after receiving its Charter and receiving the full status of a university it got changed as the University of Exeter. The St Luke’s College of Education also became a part of the university in 1978 and also established the Penryn Campus in 2004.
The University of Exeter is located in the southwest of England i.e. city of Exeter, Devon. There are four campuses of the University of Exeter, two of them are in Exeter, Streatham and St Luke's and the other two are in Cornwall, Truro and Penryn. The predecessor institutes of the university were St Luke's College, Exeter School of Science, Exeter School of Art, and the Camborne School of Mines. The oldest of them is St Luke's College established in the year 1838. a member of the Russell Group and have a Gold award from the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). The application cycle for University of Exeter admissions usually begins in the month of September. The university accepts applications for full-time undergraduate courses from through UCAS between September 1 and January 26. Below are the steps to apply for the University of Exeter.
For Undergraduate courses:
Go to the UCAS official website - ucas.com.
Register using the details asked such as email address, name and other details.
Search the University of Exeter from the search option given on the home page. The University of Exeter’s UCAS code is E84 EXETR.
The programmes offered at the Penryn campus are indicated by ‘Penryn Campus, Cornwall’ after the title. Students should indicate ‘C’ under ‘Campus Code’ in the ‘choices’ section of the application.
Now, fill out all the required information such as personal details, education details, and employment history if any.
Submit the application form and pay the pre-requisite fee in online mode.
Save the application form for future reference.
The application form will now be reviewed and any further updates will be communicated to the applicants via registered mail.
For Postgraduate courses
Go to the official website - www.exeter.ac.uk.
On the home page, click on ‘Study’ followed by ‘Masters’. This will lead to postgraduate taught courses.
Select the desired course and check the entry requirements for that particular course.
On the course page, click on ‘Apply Now’.
Fill out all the required details and submit the supporting documents wherever required.
Submit the application and save it for future reference.
Candidates can expect a response within 5 working days of the date of acknowledgement of receipt of the application.

A number of libraries are there at the University of Exeter like Forum Library, Old Library, Law Library, St Luke's Library, Penryn Campus Library, Falmouth campus library, NHS Library, and Exeter Cathedral Library. A number of books on various subjects, journals, ebooks and other materials are available for students in these libraries. The campus library comprises more than 1.2 million physical library resources, which include historical journals and special collections. Students can borrow, or reserve the books as well.

The University of Exeter has around 52 sports clubs that offer a variety of sports like cricket, football, tennis, etc. The university conducts fitness classes at different timings. Students can also enrol in the St Luke's swim school, tennis coaching and cricket coaching. The cricket centre, sports centre and sports park are also accessible for all the students.
The university campuses are well connected with all the major routes of transportation. The university runs a minibus service that connects both the Exeter campuses with the city centre, bus station and Exeter Central railway station. The H bus service connects the St Luke's Campus with the city centre, bus station, and both Exeter Central and Exeter St David's railway stations. The university runs three separate services namely early morning minibus, St David's morning shuttle, and St David's evening shuttle. The University of Exeter also promotes sustainable travel and encourages students to commute to the university via bicycle or foot.
There are a number of accommodation options available for students. The university guarantees accommodation for first-year graduate students if they are applying before the deadline. The type of residences available is self-catered, catered, and private accommodations.
