    About Bangor University

    Established in 1884, Bangor University is located on the North Wales coast between the mountains of Snowdonia and the Menai Strait connected well with nearby cities.     The main library, which is situated in the Main Arts outer quad, houses books and other printed materials on all subjects. The staff that supports teaching and learning is based in the main library. This team offers in-depth, subject-specific library academic support as well as study skills to help you get the most from your academic studies.
