About National University of Singapore
National University of Singapore was formed in 1905 as a medical school with a capacity of 23 students by Tan Jiak Kim with an aim to provide education to the local community. NUS came into existence 1980 after it merged with the University of Singapore and Nanyang University. It currently has 3 campuses running in Kent Ridge, Bukit Timah and Outram having 13 undergraduate and 4 graduate schools under its administration.

National University of Singapore Admission and Application
National University of Singapore or NUS offers admissions based on the acceptance of application forms and an admission test/ interview is also a part of what is held by the university with respect to certain National University of Singapore courses. Detailed description about the admission procedure is written below in the following points.
- Applicants must pay a visit to the official website of the NUS singapore university and start applying there.
- Students have to download the application forms from the website and submit it along with all required documents and pay the amount of fees through AXS, credit card, bank draft, cheque or PayNow.
- Students also must keep a copy of the acknowledgement page and email if needed in the future.
- Students can keep a track of their application via Online Application Status Facility (OASF) and if they are shortlisted then they have to clear the University Entrance Examination (UEE) conducted by the university.
- Based on the qualifying scores, students also might have to clear an interview conducted by the faculty.
- After clearing all the procedures, paying fees, and getting their documents verified, students will be offered NUS Singapore.
National University of Singapore Eligibility
- Students who are neither Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) or citizens of Singapore and must be presenting certain documents like Singapore-Cambridge GCE A level, Singapore-Cambridge GCE A level, International Baccalaureate Diploma from a Polytechnic in Singapore, and NUS High School Diploma have to apply under International Qualifications.
- Students applying through International Qualifications, have to complete their high school education within a time period of twelve years.
- For undergraduate admissions, students have to submit the scores of ACT and SAT or Advanced Placement scores.
- Students applying under Polytechnic Diplomas from Singapore, have to submit an accredited Diploma from a Polytechnic in Singapore.

NUS, Singapore has eight libraries under its administration six of which are located at Kent Ridge, and the EAI and C J Koh Law Libraries are located at Bukit Timah. The Central Library has a collection of books and resources related to Arts & Social Sciences, Engineering and their Graduate Divisions, Computing, Design & Environment. The Chinese Library has a collection of Chinese and Japanese language resources. The Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library has a collection of books related to management, business and finance books, printed and electronic journals. The Medical Library has books and resources related to medicine, the Music Library has a collection of music scores, CD and DVD titles, that covers the western art music tradition and the Science Library covers books on biological and life sciences, chemistry, mathematics, statistics & applied probability, materials science and physics. The East Asian Institute (EAI) Library is well equipped with a collection of English and Chinese materials on China and East Asia covering all areas of economics, politics, sociology, law, culture, foreign relations as well as trade and investment in China.
