If the students are currently year 12 students, they have to go through VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre). To apply through VTAC, follow the given procedure:

List course preferences: enter at least 1 course, and up to 8 courses

Application fees for Victoria University - Candidates interested in seeking admission to Victoria University must complete an application form and pay an A$75 application fee. There is no reimbursement for the application cost. The fees must be paid since the form cannot be submitted without it. For VTAC application, a fee of $55.00 has to be paid.

At Victoria University, all the students are offered scholarships to help them continue their education. Each year, hundreds of scholarships are awarded to students at all levels: TAFE (certificates and diplomas), undergraduate (bachelor degrees and honours) and postgraduate. There are some Externally Funded Scholarships as well at VU. Interested students can check their eligibility on the official website. Students can apply for multiple scholarships but will only be granted with one scholarship.
TAFE Scholarships offered to TAFE students who need financial and practical assistance. Reward varies from $250 - $1000.
Bachelor Degree, Honours & Postgraduate Scholarships are offered to students who are currently enrolled in these courses at the university. The value of the reward varies between $250 - $20,000.

Victoria University (VU) campus life helps the students to learn social skills and to gain learning opportunities with events organised by the university. There are various competitions and surveys held throughout the year. Victoria University embraces and celebrates the religious and spiritual diversity and to support this, they provide a range of religious and spiritual spaces for staff and students, and a number of multi-faith chaplains are available. VU has a TV Studio with green room available for University and external groups. The TV Studio contains: interview stage with white or black curtains, green cyclorama, large drama set, a full visual control room, audio control room and many more. The university offers a 25m swimming pool along with swimming lessons. These learning programs are available for children and adults at the Footscray Park Aquatic & Fitness Centre Swim School of Victoria University.
Melbourne has a public transport network of trains, trams and buses in all parts of the city. These transports are reliable, safe and easy to use. International students are able to apply for an International Student Travel Pass which can be used to access public transport travel discount scheme for international students. Students are also free to use the shuttle buses offered by Victoria University. The shuttle buses are available on weekdays only, and it connects the Footscray and St Albans campuses to their nearest train stations.
