Candidates seeking to study abroad can complete their IELTS slot booking either online or offline. The IELTS registration window is available for international students to book their slot for preferred dates and test centres throughout the year. As IDP IELTS exam slot is subject to availability, candidates must register for the exam early. Create an account and log in to the account.
Select 'Register for test'.
Choose between computer-delivered IELTS or paper-based IELTS.

Upload a scanned colour passport photo.
Pay the required IELTS registration fees to confirm the IELTS test booking.
Check for mail confirming the IELTS slot booking on the registered email ID.

Offline IELTS Slot Booking 2024
There are two ways to submit the application form to book an IELTS slot offline: Visiting the test centre or by courier. Students can refer to the steps mentioned below for both methods.
Booking IELTS by Visiting the IDP Centre
Visit the nearest IELTS test centre.
Register on the IDP official website and pay the IELTS slot booking fee of Rs 17,000.
Download the registration form to submit it at the local test centre.
You will then receive a confirmation of the IDP IELTS exam date and time on the registered email ID.
Booking IELTS Slot by Courier
Download the application form from the IDP website.
Fill out an application form.
Submit a photocopy of your passport and pay the registration fees of Rs 17,000.
Send the complete IELTS form with the required documents to the IDP Education India Pvt. Ltd. Head Office.

How to book IELTS Slot: Rescheduling & Cancellation
Aspirants who are unable to appear for the IELTS exam on the selected date while booking a slot can register to cancel or reschedule. The IELTS test booking request for rescheduling or cancelling is approved as per the valid and relevant documents submitted by students.
Rescheduling the IELTS Exam Slot
Aspirants have an option to reschedule their IELTS test. They must submit this test day transfer request at least 5 weeks before the IELTS registration date. Students must also attach relevant documents to support their reason for not appearing for IELTS on the selected date. Candidates must pay an IELTS rescheduled fee of Rs 3,300. The IELTS exam slot date is then booked within 3 months after the initial test date as per the test centre and seat availability.
Cancelling the IELTS Slot
Students get an option to cancel the IELTS exam date booking after filling out the Transfer & Cancellation Form with the original payment receipt of the test fee. All IELTS cancellation requests received at least at least 15 days from the test date are accepted by IDP. On the cancellation approval, the refund is processed within 8-10 business dates after deducting the relevant cancellation fees.

Applicants are required to submit IELTS exam fees of Rs 17,000 to register for computer-based or paper-based tests.
