The IELTS exam dates are available throughout the year. The paper-based IELTS exam slots are available 4 times a month, whereas the computer-delivered IELTS is available multiple times a month. This provides flexibility to students to register for an IELTS slot at their convenience. To complete the IELTS slot booking online, students are required to visit the IDP IELTS India website, register, thereby selecting test type, location, centre, etc., fill in the relevant information, and pay the IELTS fee. IELTS Slot Booking 2025
Students planning to appear for the IELTS exam must select the IELTS slot early due to its high popularity among students seeking to study abroad. The computer-based IELTS test dates are available throughout the month, whereas the paper-based IELTS test slot booking is offered approximately four times a month.
There are two ways to complete the entire IELTS slot booking process for applicants:

Offline IELTS Slot Booking 2025
There are two ways to submit the application form to book an IELTS slot offline: visiting the test centre or by courier. Students can refer to the steps mentioned below for both methods.
Booking IELTS by Visiting the IDP Centre
Visit the nearest IELTS test centre.
Register on the IDP official website and pay the IELTS slot booking fee of Rs 17,000.
Download the registration form to submit it at the local test centre.
You will then receive a confirmation of the IDP IELTS exam date and time on the registered email ID.
Booking IELTS Slot by Courier
Download the application form from the IDP website.
Fill out an application form.
Submit a photocopy of your passport and pay the registration fees of Rs 17,000.

How to book IELTS Slot: Rescheduling & Cancellation
Aspirants who are unable to appear for the IELTS exam on the selected date while booking a slot can register to cancel or reschedule. The IELTS test booking request for rescheduling or cancelling is approved as per the valid and relevant documents submitted by students.
Rescheduling the IELTS Exam Slot
Aspirants have an option to reschedule their IELTS test. They must submit this test-day transfer request at least 5 weeks before the IELTS registration date. Students must also attach relevant documents to support their reason for not appearing for IELTS on the selected date. The reschedule fee for IELTS differs depending on the IELTS test type. It ranges between 2,825 and 4,300 INR. The IELTS exam slot date is then booked within 3 months after the initial test date as per the test centre and seat availability.
Cancelling the IELTS Slot
Students get an option to cancel the IELTS exam date booking after filling out the Transfer & Cancellation Form with the original payment receipt of the test fee. All IELTS cancellation requests received at least 15 days from the test date are accepted by IDP. On the cancellation approval, the refund is processed within 8-10 business days after deducting the relevant cancellation fees.

Applicants are required to submit IELTS exam fees of Rs 17,000 to register for computer-based or paper-based tests. This fee is non-returnable and non-transferable and is paid while booking an IELTS slot. One the most general tips for the preparation of both tests would be to go for a structured approach and understand the format of the tests respectively and work on improving grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation along with it take regular tests and reviews them. Both have 4 section, Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking, so all four must be kept in focus, and thus you must plan your time according to your needs and areas of improvement.
Now, for TOEFL, it's recommended to use resources from ETS, that is, official materials and tests.
For IELTS, it's recommended to use resources from IDP, British Council and Cambridge, that give you sample tests and questions.

Hello Student,
For the AMC (Australian Medical Council) exam , which assesses international medical graduates for practice in Australia, the IELTS requirement is generally a minimum overall score of 7.0 , with no individual band score below 7.0 (in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
Alternatively, the AMC also accepts equivalent scores from OET, TOEFL iBT, and PTE Academic :
- OET : A grade of B in all four components.
- TOEFL iBT : A minimum overall score of 94, with minimum scores of 24 in Listening, 24 in Reading, 27 in Writing, and 23 in Speaking.
- PTE Academic : A minimum overall score of 65, with a minimum score of 65 in each communicative skill.
Meeting these requirements is essential to proceed with the AMC’s application and registration processes.

1. Accepted English Language Tests and Scores

Overall band score : 7.0 in each band ( listening , reading , writing and speaking ) .
PTE Academic ( Pearson Test of English Academic ) :
Overall score of 65 in each band ( listening , reading , writing and speaking ) .

The test results must be no older than two years at the time of submitting your AMC application .
