Aspirants who are unable to appear for the IELTS exam on the selected date while booking a slot can register to cancel or reschedule. The IELTS test booking request for rescheduling or cancelling is approved as per the valid and relevant documents submitted by students.
Aspirants have an option to reschedule their IELTS test. They must submit this test-day transfer request at least 5 weeks before the IELTS registration date. Students must also attach relevant documents to support their reason for not appearing for IELTS on the selected date. The reschedule fee for IELTS differs depending on the IELTS test type. Students get an option to cancel the IELTS exam date booking after filling out the Transfer & Cancellation Form with the original payment receipt of the test fee. All IELTS cancellation requests received at least 15 days from the test date are accepted by IDP. On the cancellation approval, the refund is processed within 8-10 business days after deducting the relevant cancellation fees.
