About The Ohio State University

Ohio State University is a public land grant research university in Columbus, Ohio. It was established in 1870.  Ohio State University was initially known by the name of Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College but in 1878, then US President Rutherford B. Hayes passed a law and changed its name to Ohio State University, understanding the scope of the college.

Application deadlines for different programmes are different. For undergraduate programmes fall entry regular decision, and the application deadline is February 2024. For graduate programmes, it differs course-wise. It is March for the Master of Science in Civil Engineering, August for the Master of Architecture, and June for the Master of Applied Economics. 

The spring, summer, and autumn semesters for the MS in Systems and Industrial Engineering are in December, June, and August, respectively. The final round of admissions to Ohio State University's MBA programme will take place in May 2024.
