The George Washington University Courses
The MD Program for International Students was developed by the School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) and the Office of International Medicine Programs (IMP) at George Washington University (GW) in response to the great international demand for a US medical education. This four-year program is designed to facilitate international students who wish to practice medicine in their home countries.

The George Washington University Admission and Application
- Candidates are required to register online and fill the application forms through the Common Application.
- Applicants must fill all the details correctly and submit it along with all required documents and pay the application fee of $80.
- Students also have to submit standardised test scores for admissions to certain undergraduate and graduate programmes.
- Applicants will be called for further admission procedure after their applications have been approved.
The George Washington University Eligibility
- Students applying for undergraduate programmes might have to submit their ACT or SAT scores and for applying to graduate programmes, students might have to submit their GRE or GMAT scores.
- Additional documents such as official transcripts, letters of recommendation, portfolio, college-level coursework etc also have to be submitted.
- International students have to submit proof of their English proficiency by submitting their International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language Exam (TOEFL), Duolingo English Test, or PTE Academic scores.
- Test scores for the English language test are only valid for two years.

Sports
GWU offers various sports facilities to the university students including indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball, wiffleball, and flag football. There are various sports clubs which conduct sports events and tournaments and or leagues. Athletes of all levels starting from beginners to professionals are welcomed for honing their skills and interests.
Gym
The Health and Wellness Center has a gym which is provided with all the gym equipment required for strength and conditioning, cardio and cross-fit. Trained fitness experts are also available for guiding throughout the workout sessions.
Medical/Hospital
The Student Health Center offers medical, psychiatric, counselling, and psychological services. Medical practitioners are available from Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm on booked appointments. The health center also has trained psychiatrists and counsellors to advise and offer any kind of help to people dealing with mental health problems.
