    Sheffield Hallam University has two campus libraries, Adsetts Library at City campus and Collegiate Library at Collegiate campus. Students can access both libraries 24/7 throughout the year.     Sheffield Hallam University has over 40 student-run sports clubs. They include everything from Sailing & Windsurfing to Snowsports and Athletics.     Students looking forward to learning swimming or excelling in competitive swimming have two swimming pools outside Sheffield Hallam University. Located in Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, one of them is an olympic swimming pool and other is a leisure swimming pool. The olympic swimming pool is a 50 metre pool and is one of ten in the UK that is built to current FINA standards. It has seating for 2,600 spectators, water slides, 50 m competition pool and a 25m diving pit. At the leisure pool, students can enjoy a relaxed swimming session with waves and a lazy river.

    Public transport via buses, trams and trains, cars, and cycles is supported by Sheffield Hallam University to travel around and between the two campuses, the City and the Collegiate campus. Bus tickets for travelling between Sheffield Hallam University campuses cost £1.20 with a SHU student card. By walking it takes 25–30 minutes to reach from one campus to another, and 10 minutes by cycle. There are 600 bicycle storage spaces, showers and changing facilities located across both campuses. Parking facility is available for cars.

City campus has 9 cafes, the collegiate campus provides 3 cafes, all of which are open from Monday to Friday. At all cafes students can get a meal at £3.75 along with a homemade sandwich, snacks and hot/cold drinks. Ingredients for all the eatery are sourced locally. Options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and religious diets are available at all outlets. Discounts are available for students on SHU ID cards. In addition, there are  vending machines across City and Collegiate campuses where students can quickly grab hot and cold drinks, along with snacks at the most.
