About M.Sc Management and Business Analytics with a Placement Year

M.Sc Management and Business Analytics is a course that prepares students to gain professional skills required to predict future events based on the actions of consumers, market trends, thereby assisting in bringing up efficient processes, organisational decisions and strategic choices of companies. At the end of the course, students will learn to identify, analyse and assess a range of issues related to business, come up with suitable responses to these problems, and make a reasonable decision regarding the course of action. 

The course requires students to complete seven compulsory modules, a final research project of 50 credits, followed by one year of paid work placement in the UK or international companies in marketing roles. After successful completion of the course, students can find careers in many private and government organisations that use business intelligence. While most postgraduate courses at Oxford Brookes University have intakes throughout the year, some may have deadlines. Eligibility

International students seeking to apply for the course must ensure to meet the entry requirements. Minimum 2:2 honour’s bachelor’s degree is required for all students. For Indian students a 60% or above score in standard 12th English will be considered. However, to avoid complications, international students are advised to take an internationally standardised English test.   • A Second class honours degree (2:2) in any academic discipline or equivalent from recognised institutions or equivalent professional qualification with 50% for High Level Institution, 55% for Medium Level Institution, 60% Low Level Institution.

  • A certificate of diploma with compensatory work experience

  • Working professionals who are looking for career development.

  • IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking.
