Masters (MSc) funding and scholarships: Candidates from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries who are enrolled in any full-time taught Master’s study at a UK university are eligible to apply for financial aid to sustain their higher education at LSHTM. The scholarship award is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) to potential candidates who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

Commonwealth Phd Scholarships: High-quality graduates from least-developed countries and fragile States are granted Commonwealth Phd Scholarships to encourage them to become influential leaders, teachers, or researchers in their home countries. 

Mathematical Modelling to Inform Malaria Control: LSHTM grants a stipend of £20,140 per annum for full-time PhD studentship for a period of 4 years. London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Eligibility

International students are required to confirm their eligibility required by the institution to apply for admission at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. All the academic and English language requirements for overseas students are listed below.

  • Candidates who have relevant professional experience or training equivalent to a Second Class Honours (2:2) degree or above

Library

The Students and staff can visit the library at any time during our opening hours. Please bring your LSHTM ID card with you to access the library. If you are a distance learning student, you may need to contact your course administrator in advance to arrange for a card to be printed in advance of your visit.

Laboratories

LSHTM library offers a wide range of journals, catalogues, and databases for students. The institution’s staff, students, and external users are required to take memberships at the library to avail the facilities offered by the LSHTM library. The institution also has an archive section that holds documents, letters, photographs, maps, publications, and objects relating to tropical and infectious diseases and public health issues.
