About Caucasus International University
The Caucasus International University, Tbilisi, Georgia was founded as a medical institute “Clinitsist” in 1995. In 2005, the institute was granted accreditation by the Accreditation Council of Higher Education Institutions. Later in 2006, the Institute Clinitsist was formed as a multi-profile Higher Education Institution, presently known as Caucasus International University. The University creates a modern learning and teaching atmosphere by bringing innovation to its education system and at the same time promoting diverse University through the process of internationalisation of Medical Education. The Caucasus University is welcoming more than 700 medical students from around the world and the number is increasing every term. CIU offers Bachelor, Master, Doctoral(PhD) and One-Step Educational Programs.
The research department of the Caucasus International University works actively towards promoting new scientific research, bringing out new ideas and organising grant funding for University research. The University of Caucasus is amongst Georgia's highly recognised universities for MBBS programs. The International Journal of Social Sciences was founded by the University in 2021. Caucasus International University Courses
The University offers UG, PG, Doctoral and One-Step Programmes and has five faculties, namely, Business and Technology, Social Sciences, Law, Medicine and Viticulture Winemaking. The Language of Instruction for these programs is English. Caucasus International University also offers a Preparatory Language Course for International Students who intend to improve their English proficiency. The Course duration is 10 weeks and costs 800 GEL. Another language preparatory course offered by the University is the Basics of Georgian language, in order to help students integrate and adapt to the University and new country.

The admission procedure at Caucasus International University includes the following steps:

Fill out the application form available at the official website of the University.
The scanned documents must be uploaded in PDF along with with the application form.
After the submission of application form and documents, the applicant will have an online video interview scheduled.
The purpose of the interview is to check the candidate's proficiency in English language.
Applicants who qualify the interview will receive an official confirmation letter from the University via e-mail.

Application fees are defined by 200 USD, for all the courses. The application fees are non refundable and it is to be submitted while filling out the application form.
Caucasus International University Scholarship
University scholarships and other student benefits are vital in enhancing student motivation and easing the financial burden. Caucasus International University offers both Academic and Nominative scholarships.
Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of:

Engagement in academic-scientific activities.
Academic scholarships are valid for one semester.
The semester scholarship cannot exceed 1125 GEL.

Nominative scholarships offered by the Caucasus International University
These are offered to the person who has greatly contributed to the Caucasus International University.
Ivane Beritashvili Scholarship with an award value of 2250 GEL is offered to the student with top results in the Physiology course.
Scholarships are offered to the successful entrants of UG Program.
Entrants who have finished secondary school with Gold Medal get 20% of their Tuition fee funded by the University.
Entrants who have finished secondary school with Silver Medal, get 10% of their Tuition fee funded by the University.
A scholarship is maintained if a student’s GPA is 3.0 or more every academic semester.
Students who graduate from the Educational Program with GPA of 3.5 or more, get 50% of their Tuition Fee funded by the university during the first and second Academic Year.
Caucasus International University Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the medical aspirants seeking admission to Caucasus International University are as follows:
Applicant should not be less than 17 and more than 25 years of age.
Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 12th grade.
A minimum aggregate of 55% in High School(class 12th) is required.
Intermediate knowledge of the English language (B1 level) is mandatory.
NEET is mandatory for Indian Students.
English Language Requirements at Caucasus International University:
TOEFL and IELTS are not mandatory.
Those who do not have any of these two tests will have to take the English language Exam at the University Language Center.
TOEFL or IELTS Certificate holders will be given admission without any further Language Exam.
Applicants with English as Native Language do not have to submit any certificates nor have to take any Language examination.
