York University Scholarship

York University offers currently enrolled students a variety of scholarships and bursaries in Canada. The Students are required to fill out the student financial profile at the start of each academic session: fall/winter and summer, to be considered for a variety of programmes. The scholarships and bursaries range from CAD 1,500 to CAD 20,000. The Global Leader of Tomorrow Award for International Students offers an award of up to 20,000 to applicants who have outstanding academic achievement and other accomplishments. York University Eligibility

Undergraduate Students:

  • Grade XII graduation with a minimum overall average of 60% is required to be considered for most programs - minimum 5 academic courses

If students choose to live in one of the two campuses, they are provided with many options of hall residences that will suit their needs. Over 4,000 students live on campus each year spread out in more than 13 residence buildings over two campuses. The Keele Campus has traditional dorm-style residences where students can meet new people and make lifelong friendships. The first-year undergraduate students are encouraged to live with roommates, while others are allowed to have private rooms and dorms, and even live off campus in residential neighbourhoods.
