    There is a medical program at the University of Ottawa which leads to the Doctor of Medicine degree. It is a 4-year course. All over, 147 weeks of instruction (72 weeks of which are devoted to clinical work) are scheduled over four calendar years. This program is offered in English and French. Pre-clerkship is devoted to the teaching and learning of biomedical sciences, whereas Clerkship is devoted to clinical work. The students are taught all in and outs of MBBS.
