    About University of New South Wales

    University of New South Wales is a Public Research University established in 1949. The University is based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. UNSW is among the top 50 educators in the world. The University of New South Wales Rankings are 19th in QS World University Rankings, 71st in THE World University Rankings 2023 and 18th in THE Impact Rankings 2023. The University is accredited by AACSB and EQUIS. UNSW is part of the Group of Eight Australian Universities (Go8) and is ranked number one in Australia for research quality and impact.

    University of New South Wales has research partnerships with more than 200 Universities and student exchange partnerships with more than 250 Universities  around the world, including the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, Brown University and others.     University of New South Wales Admission and Application

    The University of South Wales (UNSW) offers admission in various educational programs. To get admission in the University, the applicants must meet the academic and English language requirements. The admission process at the University of South Wales is simple and easy to follow. Applicants who do not meet the Educational requirements of the University or whose Higher Secondary School qualifications are not recognised by the UNSW can enrol at the University Pathways Programs. 

    After successful completion of the Diploma under UNSW Pathway Programs, students can directly enter the 2nd year of the selected Degree Program.

    Admission Process of University of New South Wales: How to Apply?

    Applicants must choose the degree program(UG/PG) they wish to pursue, before applying to study in Australia. The entry requirements for the UG and PG Program are course specific. Applicants who meet all the entry requirements can apply for the chosen course at University of South Wales. Applicants (international students) can also apply via UNSW agent. They need to click on ‘Agent’, for the registration process. 

    The steps to apply at the University of New South Wales are as follows:

    • Select the degree program of your choice at unsw.to/degrees.

    • Check the entry requirements of the selected program.

    • Visit - apply.unsw.edu.au to Apply Online.

    • Click on the ‘Register Now’ button to register.

    • The login credentials will be sent via email. 

    • Login to UNSW Apply Online.

    • Fill all the required details.

    • Upload all the required documents.

    • Pay the Application fee.

    • Submit the Application Form.

    The University of South Wales Application Fees 

    Students applying for the admission at the University of New South Wales, must pay the application fee of AU$125. The application fees are non-refundable.

    University of New South Wales Eligibility

    The eligibility criteria to get admission in the University of New South Wales is provided under the list of degree programs. Applicants can check their eligibility under the selected degree course. The minimum eligibility to get admission at the University of New South Wales is as follows:

    • Applicants should not be less than 17 or more than 25 years of age at the time of admission.

    • Applicants must meet the minimum educational qualifications required to take admission in the selected course or degree program at the University of New South Wales.

    • Applicants must have completed the education required for a particular degree course, from a recognised institution.

    • Applicants should meet the English Language Proficiency Requirements of the University.

     TOEFL Internet-based Test (ibt): 90 overall

    Applicants who do not have English as their first language must provide the evidence of their English language proficiency to meet the English language requirements of the University of New South Wales. Applicants are required to submit the results of a standardised English language tests, such as IELTS or TOEFL. The tests must be taken not more than two years prior to the date of admission. The minimum acceptable scores of IELTS and TOEFL are mentioned below. 

    Applicants who do not meet the above mentioned English language requirements of the University, can achieve proficiency in English language through the UNSW English Entry Course (UEEC) program.
