There are more than 475 PTE exam centres in the world in over 117 countries. Indian students must check the available PTE centres in India and their locations beforehand to register conveniently. There are a total of 62 PTE exam centres in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Haryana, Bengaluru, and other major cities. The candidates are allowed to select a suitable PTE 2025 test centre at the time of registering for the test. The PTE Academic is available on different dates at different test centres. The availability of the PTE exam dates depends on two major factors: month-wise availability and city-wise availability. Students can select the PTE test centre near their locality, as there are around 62 PTE test locations in India and 500+ PTE centres in the world. PTE Test Centres in India 2025: Overview
At the time of registration for the PTE 2025 Academic test, students will have to choose the exam centre and date. Candidates will have to select any four PTE academic test centres as per their preference. There are mainly four time slots available at almost every PTE test centre. These are as follows:

How to Select PTE Exam Centre and Test Date in India?
Only a registered candidate can select the PTE test centre 2025. Here are the steps for selecting the PTE test centre and date.
Step 1: Register and log in to the Pearson-VUE account.
Step 2: Select the type of exam: PTE Academic.
Step 3: Now select the country, for example, India, and click on the search tab.
Step 4: All available PTE academic exam centres will be shown on the page along with a map.
Step 5: A candidate can select up to 4 PTE centres in order of preference.
Step 6: Now select the date and timings for the test.
Step 7: Submit the details and pay the test fee in online mode.
Documents Required at PTE Test Centres in India 2025
To take the PTE Academic 2025, candidates need to provide acceptable documents as advised by the conducting body. The document list varies from country to country. The following documents are accepted in PTE exam centres 2025 in India for verification purposes.
If the candidate is a citizen of India and is taking the test outside the country, he/she must present a valid passport for identification purposes.
If the candidate is a citizen of India and is taking a test inside the country, the passport is also valid for identification. However, in case the candidate has given his passport for renewal, the digital renewable slip will be accepted.
It should be noted that the conducting body does not accept the magistrate's letters or any other identification document. Further, the same ID details shared at the time of registration should be presented in the PTE 2025 test centre at the time of the exam. If the candidate fails to produce the ID, he/she will not be allowed to enter the PTE test centre.

- Location: Candidates must select the test centre that is close to their home and have convenient parking space and other amenities.
- Slots: Find the test centre that offers multiple slots. This helps candidates to select the preferred one without inconvenience.
- Take reviews: Talk with past test takers for feedback and then book the test centre.
Cancellation and Rescheduling of the PTE Exam 2025
If Pearson suspends the scheduled PTE test date at a particular test centre, all candidates will be notified through an email with an appointment or cancellation notice. The refund process will be initiated by the conducting body immediately after the suspension of the exam. Students who have completed their payment by credit or debit card will be automatically refunded to their respective bank accounts.
How to Reschedule the PTE Test Dates?
PTE test dates may be rescheduled by candidates at least 14 days in advance of the original test date. By using the "Reschedule option" in their PTE account, candidates can reschedule their academic exam dates for free. A confirmation email is then sent to the email address they registered.
