About University of Wisconsin

Established in 1956, the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee is located 10 minutes away from Lake Michigan and at a  short distance from downtown. The vision of UWM is to become a top-tier university and to become the best place to learn and work for students and faculty. 

It is one of the top 146 research universities given by the Carnegie Institutions of Higher Education. It offers around 213 academic programmes. It has 23,155 students coming from 92 countries. It offers programmes in business, engineering, information studies, etc. The campus is just 90 miles from Chicago, Illinois, the third largest city in the US.

The application deadline for various programmes like undergraduate programmes is March and December for fall and spring entry. Similarly, for graduate programmes, the deadline is July and November for fall and spring entry.
