Library

There are five libraries for various subjects and majors at University of North Texas, Willis Library, Media Library, Sycamore Library, Discovery Park Library, and Frisco Landing Library. Willis Library is the main library that holds the business, education, economics, social sciences, and humanities collections. It also houses Government Documents, the digital library division, Archives, music Library, some rare book and Texana collections. While University of North Texas students can borrow most books, and media, some collections like new periodicals, rare, and unique items are not allowed for borrowing.

North Texas University has sports facilities for athletes, beginners as well as recreation. Apogee Stadium, UNT Coliseum (“The Super Pit”), Mean Green Soccer Stadium, Ken Bahnsen Gym, Pohl Recreation Center, and Lovelace Stadium are some of the sports facilities. Apogee stadium is an outdoor football stadium. The Super Pit at the University of North Texas is an indoor facility with a 797-seat multi-purpose arena. Ken Bahnsen Gym is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena and was a men's gym formerly. There are golf courts, tennis complexes, volleyball courts also. 

Transportation

University of North Texas allows campus transit via bus, bicycle and car. Motorbikes are not allowed inside the campus premises. Daytime bus services are through Denton County Transit Authority (DCTA) that students can use. There is an E-ride facility in the evening hours for campus commute and a free shuttle service called "Lyft” in the early morning hours. Bicycle and car rentals are available on the University of North Texas campus. Students can choose to bring their own cars or bicycles. Bicycles should be parked in designated bicycle racks only. Students bringing their own cars must collect University of North Texas parking permits or hourly parking passes to avail on-campus parking facilities.

University of North Texas has at least 10 facilities for dining and snacking. Denton Campus has various restaurants, cafeterias and dining halls. Means Green Cafe is a famous cafeteria and dining hall that serves 100% plant-based dishes, House-made, flatbread pizzas, ready-to-order paninis, and fresh desserts. University of North Texas students can subscribe to meal plans and have foods with special dietary restrictions like vegan, gluten-free, food-allergens. Bruceteria is a dining hall where students can subscribe to breakfast, lunch and dinner plans. There is also Starbucks and Burger King.
