About University of San Diego

The University of San Diego is situated in the tourist hub of California and thrives on academic excellence as well as engaging community. It was founded in 1949 and has since been offering approximately 90 courses in undergraduate, graduate and online studies.

The application dates for admissions might vary according to the intake a candidate is applying for in the year.

  • International students planning to apply for Spring Semester Intake must apply by 2nd October. The letter of confirmation for the same will be received by November.

  • Applicants planning to apply for Fall semester Intake must submit their application by 1st December. The students must ensure that all academic documents must be posted by January 15th the latest. Candidates will receive a decision by March as to whether they have been accepted or not.

  • Any confirmations or Acceptance Letter that are due will be posted no later than May 1st to consider late applicants as well.

USD offers a variety of scholarships to help students finance their education. These scholarships vary in terms of merit, need, and specific academic achievements. The majority of Scholarships are offered to first-year international students by the undergraduate admission office. They are granted based on academic performance and scoring in various domains. 

These Merit-based scholarships vary between the amounts of $18,000 to $25,000 on a 4 year renewal basis given that the student meets the prerequisite requirements such as GPA and other academic scores.
