About MIT Sloan School of Management

The MIT Sloan School of Management, also known as MIT Sloan offers management programmes for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was established in 1914 with the aim of offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programmes in management to students from all diversity and communities. MIT has collaborated with research centres like the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship to offer dual degree programmes in Leaders for Global Operations and joint degree programmes in System Design and Management. MIT offers various programmes like MBA, Master of Finance, Master of Business Analytics, Leaders for Global Operations, Master of Science in Management Studies, System Design & Management, Integrated Design & Management. MIT Sloan School of Management Admission and Application

Application deadline November,2024

Students interested in taking admissions are required to register online and apply on the official website.

Before submitting the application forms, students must attach all required documents and also pay the amount of the application fee.

Submission of GRE or GMAT scores is also mandatory for admissions to certain graduate programmes.

Applicants must have qualifying test scores and all the documents submitted must be valid.

Once the application form gets approved students can get admissions for their respective programmes.

The authority will also complete the documentation process and payment of admission fee also has to be done before getting final admissions.

MIT Sloan School of Management Eligibility

  • An application form must be submitted along with a few official documents which include a cover letter, letters of recommendation or reference, a resume, additional references, transcripts, relevant coursework and professional certifications, and a video statement where students need to introduce themselves.
  • An organisational chart also has to be submitted where an applicant needs to describe their current role and the impact of their role if working in any organisation.
  • Students seeking admissions to PhD programmes for the Accounting research group and Marketing and System Dynamics research groups (optional) also need to submit a video essay about their purpose of selecting the research group has a time period of 2 to 5 minutes in length.
  • Students who are non-native English speakers need to submit scores of any of the English language tests such as Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS Academic) or Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic).
  • The test scores are valid for only two years and hence must be submitted within the valid date.
  • For getting admissions to undergraduate programmes, candidates must submit records of their high school education and for applying to graduate programmes, completion of an undergraduate degree is mandatory.
