About Howard University
Howard University is a private research university located in Washington D.C. United States. It was established in 1867 by Civil War hero General Oliver O. Howard. It provides around 143 programmes of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees. The University has produced one Schwarzman Scholar, three Marshal Scholars, four Rhodes Scholars, twelve Truman Scholars, and more than 165 Fulbright scholars. It is the top producer of American-African undergraduates who later earn doctoral degrees.
