About Gies College of Business
Gies College of Business works as the business school for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. It was established in 1915 and was earlier called the College of Commerce and Business Administration and the University of Illinois College of Business. It is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Gies College of Business offers various undergraduate and graduate programmes across three academic departments including Department of Accountancy, Department of Business Administration, and Department of Finance. The Gies Business Research Lab of Gies College of Business supports Gies faculty to perform research related to business decision making and is committed to promote industry-leading research to help organizations and individuals make efficient decisions. The Data Science Research Service (DSRS) works as a Gies Disruption initiative to assist the students, faculty, and staff in meeting data science, machine learning, computational infrastructure, and data acquisition needs.

Gies College of Business Admission and Application
- For getting admissions, applicants are required to sign in to the official portal of the university and download the application forms from there.
- All application forms must be submitted after attaching all the required documents and paying the application fee.
- GRE or GMAT scores also might be needed for admissions to postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
- The authority will shortlist the candidates based on the scores who also have to clear an interview conducted by the university.
