About Columbia Business School

Columbia Business School, also known as CBS is the private business school of Columbia University, New York which was established in 1916 with the aim of offering business and management programmes to students interested in building their careers in the field of management. It offers various programmes like MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science. In addition to that, the Mendelson Center for Undergraduate Business Initiatives is a joint initiative between Columbia College and Columbia Business School to offer Special Concentration in Business Management. Other executive programmes and doctoral programmes are also offered by the Columbia Business School.

Columbia Business School Admission and Application

  • Applicants seeking admissions need to register online and apply on the website of the university.
  • Students must attach all required documents and also make the payment for the application form.
  • After submission, students can keep track of their application forms through their registered ID and password.
  • Also, students might need to submit their GRE or GMAT scores additionally for admissions to graduate and research programmes.
  • After clearing all the rounds, candidates can get admissions for their respective enrolled programmes after document verification round and admission fee payment.

Columbia Business School Eligibility

  • Admissions to master programmes are permitted based on the academic background of a student in bachelor’s degree in any relevant field from any accredited university or institute and admissions to undergraduate programmes are allowed based on the pass marks of a student in high school.
  • International students must have English as their preferred language otherwise submission of English language test scores from any of the tests like the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS Academic) or Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is required.
  • Other additional documents like the statement of purpose, a resume, recommendation letters, transcripts etc also have to be submitted.
