Central Michigan University international students can access two libraries while at the campus, Park Library and Clarke Historical Library. Both libraries are located on the 1st floor of the Charles V. Park Library Building and together hold one million books with 2,655 seating capacity. Central Michigan University libraries provide 15 Individual Research Rooms for faculty, emeritus, and doctoral students along with an Auditorium, meeting rooms. Students can use quiet study rooms, study spaces, an Adobe Digital Lounge, individual and group study rooms. All libraries provide printers and scanners, computers, whiteboards, moveable furniture, plug-in sockets, suite facilities and much more.

Being at the central michigan university, students can join in NCAA sponsored athletic teams, recreational sports to simply stay active and socialise. THere are 15 athletic teams for both men and women in Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Softball, Volleyball and around 40 club sports for intramurals. Central Michigan University mascot for athletic teams is a block letter “C” and are called Chippewas. They also compete in the Mid-American Conference. The university has 24 athletic facilities along with 4 softball fields, two club sports, and six intramural fields for intramural sports.  Kelly/Shorts Stadium is for football, McGuirk Arena is for Basketball, Bill Theunissen Stadium is a baseball facility.

Swimming Pool

Central Michigan University has a swimming pool in SAC Aquatic Center that is used for  Swim lessons, Lap swimming, Water exercises, Informal recreation, and Family swim. It is a 25-yard, 6-lane lap pool with a depth of 4-ft and an adjustable floor. The pool at Central Michigan University also has two saunas and a 15-person spa. The water temperature is kept at 82-84 degrees for regular swimming.

Auditorium

Sarah and Daniel Opperman Auditorium at Central Michigan University is part of library event and meeting space facilities. It is mainly used for guest speakers, poetry readings, presentations, and various workshops with a theatre style seating capacity of 129 (123 seats and six additional spaces for wheelchair access). The auditorium at Central Michigan University features a laser projector and screen, one podium with touch panel, One-12' drop-down screen, a  large dry erase board, and 4 coinciding LED screens to provide a clear view for everyone in the audience. Other equipment includes Blu-ray/DVD Player, Apple TV, PCs, CD player, Microphones along with a T-coil Hearing Assistance System. Food is not allowed inside the auditorium.
