Dnipro State Medical University, also known as Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, was founded in 1916 as a Higher Education Institute for females. The Institute acquired the status of State Academy in 1920 and it was finally established as Dnipro State Medical University in 1994. The University has the highest (4th) level of accreditation among all Universities of Ukraine. DSMU has been conducting the training of foreign students since 1990.
At present, a total of 4500 students are studying at Dnipro State Medical University, among them, 700 students, from 36 countries are getting training in different specialties. India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Sudan, Palestine, China, Morocco, Kenya, Ghana, and others are some of the countries from where students are coming to study at DSMU.
Dnipro State Medical University publishes three Academic Scientific Journals – “Medical Perspectives”, “Urology” and “Dermatovenereology, cosmetology, sexual pathology”. In 1922, the University organised and edited two scientific medical journals, named “Ekaterynoslavsky Medical Journal” and “New Surgical Archive”. The University has 42 Clinical departments, in 28 hospitals of the city of Dnipropetrovsk. The University has vast experience in training foreign specialists, producing highly qualified teaching staff and providing modern facilities that guarantee a great level of theoretical and practical knowledge and learning to its students.

Dnipro State Medical University has eight faculties namely, Faculty of General Medicine, Faculty of Pediatrics, Faculty of Dentistry(Stomatology), Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Management of Public Health, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Preparatory faculty for foreign citizens. The Degree courses offered at the Dnipro State Medical University are Undergraduation, Postgraduation and Doctoral Degrees. The degree programs are offered in English language for international students.
The Undergraduate courses are offered in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Pharmacy and Stomatology. The faculty of Postgraduate Education offers the study in 26 Medical specialities such as Dermatology and Venereology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Pathological Anatomy, Psychiatry and others. PG courses are offered in English language but all foreign students of PG have to study Russian or Ukrainian languages for 10 months before starting their research work.

Fill all the details in the Application form such as name, date of birth, permanent address, course name, e-mail address etc.
Scan all the required documents and upload them on the link provided in the application form.
After uploading all the documents, click on the Submit button.
The Application form will get submitted.
Take the printout of the application form for further proceedings.

Applicants need to be sent to the email address of the University at info@dpsmu.com. The documents will go for the verification process after the completion of which the applicant will receive the Admission Confirmation Letter.
The next step is to acquire the Invitation Letter. In order to get the Invitation Letter from the Dnipro State Medical University, the applicant is required to send the following documents.

Fees of Invitation Letter.
The Applicant can send these documents via email(info@dpsmu.com) or fax. The payment includes Invitation Letter charges of $400 and courier charges of $100. An applicant can transfer the payment through Western Union or MoneyGram. Send the payment receipt along with the documents.

The applicant should be above 17 and below 25 years of age on or before the date of admission.
The applicant must be a High School(class 12th) Graduate or hold an equivalent degree with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects.

There is a Sports complex at the Department of Physical Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Valeology for the last 30 years.
