International individuals who are interested in pursuing a programme at the University of Wolverhampton must confirm their eligibility and qualifications according to the requirements of the institution. The criterion varies from one country to another.

There are various eligibility determinants for Indian students to enrol into the university.

These are as follows:

For a 4 Year International Foundation integrated degree routes in Arts; Education, Health and well-being; Science and Engineering and Social Sciences, the Indian students require:

A minimum of 55-57% overall score in the Standard XII examination.
A specific subject score higher than 55% if a specific degree requires the candidate to study specific subjects at high school

For Undergraduate which is available in September 2024 Intake, the Indian candidates need:

Completion of Standard XII Higher Secondary School Certificates (Indian School Certificate/Intermediate Examination Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate /All India Senior School Certificate)
Candidates must achieve a minimum of between 60% and 63% overall in their Standard XII examinations
Some courses may state specific subjects and grade requirements and the score must be above 68% in that subject

For Postgraduate (Master's) which are available in March 2024 and May 2024 Intake, the Indian candidates must have:

completed a three or four-year undergraduate degree (Honours Bachelor degree or Professional degree) at an accredited university or college.
The exact requirements will depend on the postgraduate degree you are applying for and the institution you have studied at.
For programmes that require a UK Second Class Honours Second Division (2:2), a minimum score of 59% is required.
For programmes that require a UK Second Class Honours First Division (2:1), a minimum score of 65% is required

For Postgraduate (Master's) which are available for September 2024 Intake, Indians are required the following:

three or four-year undergraduate degree (Honours Bachelor degree or Professional degree) at an accredited university or college.
A minimum of 72% in 12th English (Second-year marks): From the following boards: Board of Intermediate Education (Andhra Pradesh), Bihar Board, Board, Jharkhand Board, Himachal Board, Jammu & Kashmir Board, Gujarat Board and Telangana Board.
70% in Year 12 English: From the following boards: CBSE, AISSCE, Maharashtra Board, West Bengal Board, Kerala Board, Karnataka Board, Madhya Pradesh Board, Rajasthan Board and other Boards

English proficiency requirements

Any student at the University of Wolverhampton either as an EU or international applicant, must showcase English language proficiency skills during the admissions process. The university provides a range of courses with different English language proficiency.

These requirements are there to ensure that aspirants have the correct ability to achieve the desired qualifications with the institute.
