Admission and Application

Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step of Queen's University, Belfast admission process. Once the eligibility criteria have met, students have to select M.Sc Industrial Pharmaceutics programme. On the course page of M.Sc Industrial Pharmaceutics, students have to click on the Apply button. Students have to log in and fill all the requisite information like core details, academic background and so on. Next, upload all the necessary documents. The list of the documents in detail is given below. Finally, complete the application form and submit. To check the status of the application, students have to log in to the same portal. 


How to Apply

  • Students have to apply online on the ‘Postgraduate Applications Portal’.

  • Students have to visit the M.Sc Industrial Pharmaceutics course page and click on the Apply button.

  • This will direct the students to the page- dap.qub.ac.uk/portal/user/u_login.php.

  • New users have to register and create an application account (Qsis). 

  • Next, students have to log in with the student number and Qsis password and fill the application form. 

  • After that, students have to upload all the necessary documents.

  • Finally, submit the application form.

  • Students can track the status of their application form by logging into the portal.

Eligibility

Students must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the M.Sc Industrial Pharmaceutics programme admission. As per the programme eligibility criteria, students must have a 2.1 honours degree or equivalent in the relevant subjects. International students from India should have a UK Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) or a UK Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2) degree. In addition to the above Indian students should have also scored 70% in English Language in class 12 from CBSE/CISCE/other state boards. Queen's University, Belfast also accepts IELTS scores. Those who do not have the required percentage in English in standard 12, should have a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS. 

  • A 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering or closely allied subject


For international students (India)-

  • UK Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1)

  • First division pass and a minimum final average of 58 - 60% or CGPA 5.8 - 7.5 out of 10 point scale


  • UK Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2)

  • Second division pass and a minimum final average of 53 - 55% or CGPA 5.3 - 6.5 out of 10 point scale


English language requirements

Any of the following:

  • 70% in English Language in Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/Higher Secondary Certificate awarded by the following state boards: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal

  • IELTS- score of 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in any component
