Peking University Scholarship
Peking University offers various scholarships to international students which includes the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS), Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS), or Peking University Scholarship (PKUS). International students from Confucius Institutes can also apply for the Confucius Institute Scholarship (CIS). The scholarships are segregated into full scholarships and partial scholarships.

Peking University Eligibility
All international students are required to learn Chinese at PKU School of Chinese as a Second Language. If they do not meet the Chinese proficiency, students may either take English-taught undergraduate courses for one or two semesters or learn Chinese at the School of Chinese as a Second Language for one or two semesters.
Note: Senior Visiting Students and Research Scholars are not required to take the Chinese language proficiency exam if they do not experience any obstacles in communicating with their supervisor.
